My name is Roman Demidov. For over three decades, I have devoted my life to the craft of bespoke menswear, working strictly within the traditions of classical tailoring.
My connection to this craft is generational. I inherited my respect for tailoring from my great-grandfather, a highly regarded tailor in the Azov region, whose work laid the foundation for my understanding of precision, structure, and responsibility to the client.
From the very beginning of my career, I have focused on men with non-standard and complex physiques – clients for whom ready-to-wear garments are ineffective and conventional made-to-measure solutions fail. My work is not simply about producing a suit, but about correcting proportions, refining posture, and presenting a man at his strongest.
Every garment is handcrafted, using principles derived from the traditional Savile Row school of tailoring. These techniques create a disciplined internal structure and balanced silhouette, allowing the wearer to appear leaner, more composed, and quietly confident.
My professional reputation enabled me to establish my own atelier in Kyiv, located next to the Ukrainian Parliament. Over time, members of parliament and senior officials entrusted me not only with tailoring but also with far more complex technical challenges.
This work led to the development and subsequent patenting of a unique technology for one of the world’s most discreet concealable ballistic garments, integrated seamlessly into tailored clothing.
This area of work exists alongside tailoring but is documented independently. A more detailed overview is available on our dedicated website.
In recent years, my life has taken a decisive turn. With the outbreak of war in Ukraine, I joined the front line to defend my country. This experience profoundly shaped my understanding of discipline, responsibility, and the value of protection – both visible and unseen.
Following demobilisation, I relocated to the United Kingdom, where I am now establishing DEMIDOV Bespoke Atelier in England, continuing the work of a lifetime. I bring with me not only craftsmanship, but also discipline, precision, and a philosophy formed through decades of tailoring and life experience.
My objective is not simply to make a suit. My aim is to create a garment that supports the man who wears it, enhancing his presence, strengthening his authority, and allowing him to move through professional and social environments with confidence.
A suit by DEMIDOV Bespoke is not merely clothing.
It is a personal instrument - an
extension of the man himself.
